A series of unrealized 10,000 SF spec homes in South Miami, each on 1+ acre lots. The design methodology was to organize the homes with VERY simple geometry, thus making the structures easy and inexpensive to build, but then afford an exquisite fit and finish. Only 2 window types and 3 exterior door types were used repetitiously to encapsulate an economy of scale.
There is an honest and striking elegance to the simple logic of the structures, while simultaneously eschewing any unnecessary, expensive, or hidden complexity.
